Seven isolates which were isolated from Hospital Tuanku Jaafar Seremban during November 2021 until February 2022 and were identified as E. anophelis by the hospital laboratory, were chosen for genome sequencing and characterisation. All isolates were obtained from either blood cultures or swabs from burn injuries.
